Back in the mid-to-late 2000s, Google Analytics and similar tools often revealed visitor organisations via reverse IP lookup — institutional networks (government departments, banks, law firms) had identifiable IP ranges that would resolve to their organisation name. That window has largely closed now, as most institutions route traffic through proxies, VPNs, or shared infrastructure. Your visit may have been logged back then.
